It may seem strange for a photography company to promote the environment, but we do, because we care!

What We Do Now:

MKP is the only studio and event photography company that we know of that does ALL the following:

• Supports green practices by utilizing high efficiency CF and LED studio lighting.
• Utilizes Smart Technologies & management practices in regard to our climate controls.
• Utilizes 100% hybrid/electric, or exclusive electric vehicles for our event engagements.
• Contract our information services infrastructure to trusted third party providers (who also have green strategies) and thus eliminate the needless waste of electricity and other resources associated with under-utilized servers and network infrastructure devices such as battery backups which have significant risk from chemicals including lead, chromium, among others.

What We Can Do In The Future:

• Be proactive in our approach to conservation
• Discover new ways to save
• Promote new technologies that do more with less cost, less waste, and less cautious residue (Yes we are aware of the risks involved with compact florescent lighting but at this time, technology does not provide us with a viable alternative- short of incandescent which would increase our energy use by approximately 6x!)
